Physical Therapy
As highly trained healthcare professionals, our physical therapists specialize in dealing with individuals with mild-to-serious health-related conditions and postoperative rehabilitation. Our physical therapists are proficient in reducing pain, improving and restoring the patient’s mobility in order to achieve optimum health without further risk of re-injury; and once physical therapy is complete, patients can resume their daily activities.
Occupational Therapy
At Loretto Hospital, our occupational therapists work with individuals that suffer from mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling conditions to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments. Our therapists possess a high-level of expertise in developing a specialized treatment plan to enhance the patient’s basic motor functions and/or reasoning abilities to compensate for permanent loss of function. Our occupational therapists may assist patients with basic activities of daily living, such as eating or dressing.
Speech-Language Pathology
Speech-language pathologists assist adults and children with diagnosed speech and language disorders as a result of a developmental issue or medical illness. Our therapist helps patients by improving their speaking ability and comprehension, reading, writing, cognition, memory, and swallowing.
